Playful Estates of Mind
Intergenerational Play Programme
What is Playful Estates of Mind & who is it for.
Playful ‘Estates’ of Mind (PEM) is a 12 week intergenerational programme for young people and adults 16+ (no upper age limit) who live in the Ponders End, Edmonton Green and Craig Park areas of Enfield.
It aims to increase the awareness of the importance of play and playfulness for children, young people and community health, well-being and discovery of potential. Whilst gaining vital understanding of Play Theory participants will also embark on a journey of personal development, enrich leadership and collaboration skills and work towards delivering a play event in the local community. Bridging the gap between youth and adults through IMAP’s innovative ‘Playful Participation and Engagement Framework.
Through using play as a key mechanism to engage participants, the programme will create a safe, welcoming and transformative environment where all ages feel valued.
If you or someone you know has an interest in working with children, young people, have children or teenagers of your own and wish to make a positive difference in their life or in your local community while going on a playful journey of discovery then ’Playful Estates of Mind’ is for you.
On completion of the 12 week programme, participants vouchers for all the hard work . As well as opt-in to become an IMAP ‘Agent of Play’.
